Presentation of Rizvan Ismailova’s documentary “Silent People”
On December 9, Osh State University hosted a presentation of the documentary “They are silent” by Rizvan Ismailova, writer, publicist, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor.
The event was attended by representatives of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the President in Osh oblast, Osh City Hall, universities in Osh, poets and writers, close friends, colleagues, and fans of literature.
The documentary “They are silent” contains interesting moments and highlights in the life of the poet Jolon Mamytov. Riza Savai (Rizvan Ismailova) is a researcher who defended Jolon Mamytov and defended his dissertation. It was said at the party that he is studying the poet’s work and way of life and working for the next generation.
The event was organized by the Osh branch of the National Writers’ Union, Osh State University, and the Creative Youth Center “Jiger”.
Writer, publicist, writer Rizvan Ismailova graduated from Osh State Pedagogical University (now Osh State University) in 1984 with honors. Since 1997, he has been working as a correspondent for the republican political newspaper Erkin Too in the south. In addition to journalism, he taught students at Osh State University, Osh State University as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor. He currently works at Osh State Medical University. He has published about 30 scientific-theoretical and scientific-methodological articles. He is the author of prose books, scientific and methodological books: “Lyrics of Jolon Mamytov”, “Epic Chapters”, “Pearls of Europe”, “Mysterious Italy”, “White Plum”, “The Compassionate Heart Does Not Grow Old”, “Switzerland all over the world”. In November 2021, the documentary “Silent They” was published.
