The Department of Journalism of Osh State University held a forum for teachers, students, and young people interested in the media in Osh and Osh region.
The media forum provided information on new media and formats, post-reality, information security rules, critical thinking, information creation, personal and public hygiene, and social media. In addition, teachers of the Department of Journalism conducted master classes on the etiquette of communication in the social sphere, information standards in the new media era.
As part of the forum, a competition for the best TV report among students was announced on December 8 – the Day of Television and Radio Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and more than 20 materials were received from students. As a result, diplomas and cash prizes were awarded to the best works.
Earlier, the Department of Journalism held a forum “Future Journalists” for young people interested in becoming a journalist in the southern region. He currently teaches and educates students in various fields of journalism.
