Trade unions of Osh State University are on top!

The Central Committee of Trade Unions of Education and Science Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic summed up the results of the work for the outgoing year. Thus, the activity of the trade union association of Osh State University was highly appreciated. The chairman of the trade union committee of Osh State University, associate professor Absamat Sattarov was awarded the badge “Excellent worker of the trade union of education and science”, a certificate of honor, and a wristwatch.

At the event, Absamat Sattarov informed the audience about the work of the university trade union committee to provide teachers and university staff with land plots at preferential prices and mortgage housing, free and preferential (50%) vouchers for recreation and health promotion in boarding houses, sanatoriums and resorts of Kyrgyzstan (Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad, Osh). Along with this, he said that the student dispensary was repaired, financial assistance was provided to needy teachers and students. In 2021, 42 teachers rested in Issyk-Kul (the Red Carnation recreation center) on free vouchers. Every year, up to 200 teachers and employees are allocated preferential vouchers (50%) for recreation in sanatoriums and health resorts, and 500 students relax in a university dispensary, where food and treatment are provided at the expense of trade unions.
