Five-day training for students of 4-5-6 courses of the medical faculty of Osh State University on the basic rules of combating COVID-19 on personal protective equipment of medical staff was held in the simulation center of Osh State University in an online and offline format.
On the final day of the training, each participating student was certified. Students practiced mock-ups at the simulation center.
“During the final certification, we saw that students follow the procedures responsibly. Some were excited. Everyone knew that it was very important to clean their hands properly, to take their medication properly, and to give it to their veins. They learned that wearing and re-protective clothing requires special responsibility. They saw that the proper wearing and removal of protective clothing affected not only their own lives but also the safety of the brigade in general. Some were instructed and retrained. Respiratory gymnastics videos were also prepared with the participation of students, ”said Gulbara Tashieva, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Osh State University.
In total, 120 students in grades 4-5-6 were trained offline and 500 students were trained online. Participants were awarded certificates. After the lifeguards received the relevant knowledge, the lists of trained students were sent to the Osh city and Osh regional hospitals. They are ready to provide services as needed, as reserve personnel.
