Indian Ambassador visited Osh State University
Osh state university was visited by the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the India to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jayant Khobragade.
In a meeting with the rector of Osh State University professor Kanybek Isakov, agreements of cooperation were signed to open Kyrgyz-Indian center of information technologies in Osh State University and extension of already existing Indian cultural center in Osh State University.They agreed to establish close collaboration between Osh State University and Indian Embassy.
Majority of Indian students in the Kyrgyz Republic are studying in Osh State University and numbers are increasing every year, as Osh State University is the largest and most prestigious university of the Kyrgyzstan.
Indian Government will cooperate establishing Center of information technology and telemedicine at Osh Interprovincial united hospital of the Medical faculty Osh state University and will be linked with top indian hospitals.
Ambassador addressed students and teachers of the university with the presentation devoted to India.
Later he visited Government house and met with Governor and Mayor of Osh.
