For the holiday, colorful fireworks are arranged, traditional dipa lamps and candles are lit around their homes to attract the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Lakshmi.
This national holiday at Osh State University has become annual and traditional. The organizers and active participants are students from India studying at the international medical faculty. And this time the festival turned out to be bright and colorful. The students demonstrated a wide range of national traditions and rituals typical of the Diwali holiday. The Diwali holiday symbolizes the victory of good over evil, marks the end of the rainy season and the beginning of winter. Lighting fires is of great importance. For Hindus, darkness represents ignorance and light represents knowledge.
