Students got acquainted with military equipment February 23

In honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, 36,806 military units in Osh held an open day for schoolchildren. The event was attended by seven groups of students from STEM Innovation College of Osh State University and three groups from the College of International Educational Programs. The students got acquainted with the daily life of soldiers, military equipment, and weapons. The Open Day was led by Lt. Col. Jumanazar Samidinov, a teacher of pre-military training. Such events are organized to increase students’ love for the homeland and to acquaint them with military life.
