SUMMER SCHOOL ON MOLECULAR MEDICINE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF JENA GERMANY

The Interdisciplinary Clinical Research Center of the Jena University Hospital invites young scientists from all over the world to take part in the Summer School of Molecular Medicine. The summer school will run from August 22 to September 24, 2022. The Summer School will provide an excellent opportunity for young scientists to become familiar with research topics in molecular medicine and modern laboratory techniques. In addition, social events will allow you to meet and learn more about the cultural life of Jena and its surroundings. The program is open to participants from all over the world who have a master’s degree or a diploma in biological sciences, biochemistry, medicine, or related fields. Candidates will take practical courses from four different complexes (Molecular Biology, Signaling, Biophotonics, and Diseases). The courses are accompanied by a series of lectures. Accepted candidates will be supported by a DAAD scholarship that will cover living expenses and part of the travel expenses. Highly motivated candidates will have the opportunity to apply for a Ph.D. in participating research groups. Candidates with an MD degree have the opportunity to enroll in a Master’s course in Molecular Medicine at Jena University Hospital and join the Ph.D. program after completing this course.
