Career guidance meeting was held at Osh State University
On February 7, a career guidance meeting was held at Osh State University, held by the director of the LLC “Eurasian Cooperation Agency PITERVUZ” Asenalkhanov Daniyar Asenalkhanovich. The event was attended by the Vice Mayor of Osh Ryskulova Venera Kadyshevna, the rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, heads of universities and directors of schools in the city.
Opening the meeting, the rector of Osh State University noted the relevance of cooperation between the universities of Osh and the universities of St. Petersburg, emphasizing the wide opportunities for admission and education in higher educational institutions of the northern capital of Russia for graduates of the Osh region. Ryskulova V.K. spoke about the importance of this meeting in the training of highly qualified specialists, the quality education of Kyrgyz youth, and the cooperation between the cities of Osh and St. Petersburg, as sister cities.
Official representative of St. Petersburg universities in Central Asia Asenalkhanov D.A. noted that after 5 years of cooperation with universities and schools in Bishkek, the agency begins its work in the Osh region. The guest made a career guidance presentation, in which he spoke in detail about the largest university in Russia – the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANH and GS). The speaker acquainted the participants of the meeting with the activities of the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, informed them about the specialties and educational programs of the university, about the conditions for admission and study. Today SZIU RANH and GS trains specialists in 16 programs: journalism, economics, business informatics, tourism, customs, law, sociology, hotel business, international relations, psychology, etc.
Graduates of schools in the region can enter state-funded places by successfully passing the entrance examinations, which will be organized in Osh by representatives of St. Petersburg universities. Along with this, graduates of grades 9, 11 have the opportunity to study in St. Petersburg secondary specialized educational institutions, colleges on a budgetary basis without passing entrance exams, with subsequent employment at enterprises in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
