The seminar “Reform of medical education in the Kyrgyz Republic”

December 15-16, 2015, for the heads of the departments and the faculty of the Medical Faculty of Osh State University, chaired by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education and Science, held a seminar on reform of undergraduate medical education. As you know, to this end, experts from the University of Geneva has repeatedly visited Switzerland. The aim of this reform is to improve the quality of medical education and training of medical personnel in accordance with the practical needs of health care, particularly in rural areas. During the two-day discussions, decisions were taken on the establishment of a working group that will work on creating a curriculum and training modules on the first course. The working group consisted of 11 members representing different specialties.
