The visit of the rector of Osh State University to Turkey has begun
Rector of Osh State University, Professor K. The delegation headed by his excellency Kojobekov met on December 9 in Ankara with the head of the Turkish Religious Foundation his excellency Ihsan Achyk and other relevant officials to discuss the protocol to be signed between Osh State University and the Turkish Religious Foundation. In his speech, his excellency Ihsan Açık said that the cooperation of the Turkish Religious Foundation with Osh State University will continue and is ready to provide any support.
The meeting discussed a number of issues, including improving the quality of education, the organization of additional courses during the summer holidays, the preparation of textbooks, strengthening the material and technical base of the Faculty of Theology. Rector his excellency K. Kojobekov also thanked the Turkish Religious Foundation for its cooperation with Osh State University for 27 years and for the support provided over the years.
After a lunch break on December 9, they met in Ankara with his excellency Dr. Selum Argun, Deputy Head of the Turkish Religious Board, and other relevant departments to discuss future plans and projects for education. During the meeting, his excellency Dr. Selum Argun said that the protocol with Osh State University will further strengthen relations between the two countries. He suggested using Turkey’s experience to improve the quality of education during the pandemic and said he would assist in this regard. He also said that he is ready to help anyone in the preparation of religious books in the Kyrgyz language. He also noted that the construction of a new gymnasium on the basis of Osh State University will begin soon and the opening of religious gymnasiums in other regions of Kyrgyzstan in the future. Rector K. Kojobekov expressed gratitude and said that Turkey and Kyrgyzstan are brotherly countries and that such close relations will continue at a higher level.
