Supervision of patients at the Department of Infectious Diseases

4-year students during practical classes on the subject “Infectious Diseases” in contact with patients of the infectious diseases department, conduct a physical examination of patients, analyze medical history, laboratory and instrumental data, and treatment. The main goal of such classes is to form clinical thinking among students as the basis of medical activity. Also, patient supervision allows the student to lay the foundations and develop scientific (understanding the theoretical foundations of the medical profession), instrumental (possession of basic professional skills), integrative (the ability to combine theory and practice) and other types of competence.
