“SUMMATIVE AND FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT IN UNIVERSITY”

After passing advanced training at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education of the KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia on the topic “Summative and formative assessment at the university”, the teacher of the department of Clinical Disciplines 1 Madraimova V.S. held a methodological seminar among the teaching staff on this topic. Participants in the context of formative and summative assessment should be credible, reliable, practical, and positively influence the lesson and the learning process. Items for formative assessment and summative assessment should be designed in such a way as to provide equal opportunities for assessment for all students and are focused on assessing the expected results of the educational program. Quarter summative assessment is conducted at the end of the academic quarter and provides evidence of the knowledge, skills and understanding of students with scoring and marks.
