STUDENT OLYMPIAD

04/25/2023 the Department of “Surgical disciplines with the course of traumatology” IMF Osh State University held an Olympiad in surgery among students of the 3rd, 4th and 5th courses. 5 teams participated. The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase interest and stimulate students’ motivation to master knowledge, skills in surgery, create conditions for the development of students’ creative abilities, disseminate and popularize scientific knowledge and innovative technologies among young people in the field of surgery. The competition consisted of five stages: 1. Competition “Business card”, 2. Competition “Knitting surgical knots”, 3. Competition “Endovideosurgery”, 4. Competition “Intubation of the trachea”, 5. Theoretical competition “Kahoot”. As a result of the Olympiad, The Pulse team took the 1st place, The Surgical 5 team took the 2nd place, and The Scalpel Warriors team deservedly received the 3rd place. Participants were awarded prizes and certificates.
