Elzada Momunzhanova, a student of the Faculty of International Relations at Osh State University, became the champion of Kyrgyzstan in distance wrestling for the third time. Elsada won a championship title and a ticket to the 4th World Nomad Games in Turkey.
Our athlete shared the moments of the match, the joy of victory:
“In the 55 kg weight category, I first defeated my opponent from Jalal-Abad with a score of 7: 0. Then I knocked down the Bishkek athlete in 10 seconds, secured a clear victory and reached the final. In the final, I faced an experienced, strong, much older, and better wrestler. I have met her three times before and lost twice. Knowing that I was already my main competitor, I prepared myself psychologically. The match was tough. The score was 5: 5 and we competed a lot. In the last 2 seconds I scored 2 points and won 7: 5.
There are no weak people in big sports. All participants are strong wrestlers. I am very happy that I was named the winner and received a ticket to the World Nomad Games. I will do my best to defend the honor of waving the flag of the country on the peak of world victory.
During the match, the speakers praised and praised: “Athlete from Osh, a student of Osh State University.” Osh State University has always supported me financially and morally.
