Poetry festival at Osh State University

The International Academy of Arts “Nurborbor”, which is holding the Days of Poetry in Osh, visited Osh State University today. First, they got acquainted with the conditions of education at the faculties of Medicine, International Medicine, Art, Kyrgyz-Chinese, Industrial-Pedagogical College, which is the leading practice center of the university.

The event was opened by Taasilkan Jumabaeva, Vice-Rector for Distance Learning Technologies of Osh State University, who congratulated the Academy on its 20th anniversary.

People’s poet of the Kyrgyz Republic Sagyn Akmatbekova, chairman of the Writers’ Union, poet Nurlan Kalybekov, famous poet Kalchoro Kokulov are guests of the party.

Young poets of the “Nurborbor” Academy of Arts recited poems at the poetry festival. The party was accompanied by melodic songs.

Poetry lovers listened to the poems of famous poets Sagyn Akmatbekova, Nurlan Kalybekov, Kalchoro Kokulov and poets from Osh.

The poetry festival in Osh was organized by the Osh Oblast Writers’ Union and the Jiger Creative Youth Center.
