President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Highness Mr. Sooronbai Jeenbekov got acquainted with the digitalization of the education system on the example of Osh State University – President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Highness Mr. Sooronbai Jeenbekov, On September 9, during a working visit to Osh oblast, got acquainted with the digitalization of the education system on the example of Osh State University.

President inspected the new building of the Industrial Pedagogical College at Osh State University.

Rector of Osh State University His Excellency Mr. Kudaiberdi Kojobekov said that construction began in October 2019, is now completed and the building is ready for use.

The modern educational building was built at the expense of Osh State University. It has conference halls, reading rooms, auditoriums, a library, electronic and digital laboratories. Currently, more than 1,500 students study at the college.

The President got acquainted with the platform “Electronic University”, which performs the task of full digitalization of paperwork between departments of the university, as well as the automated exchange of information with government agencies through the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction “North”. The platform was developed by the university’s IT specialists.

It was noted that in the framework of the Year of Regional Development, Digitalization, and Child Support, a modern digital education environment has been created at Osh State University.

Students demonstrated the robots they had assembled and demonstrated their IT skills.

His Highness Mr. Sooronbai Jeenbekov also visited the electronic library, a sewing room equipped with modern equipment, and the artist’s office.

The museum of the Honored Artist of Kyrgyzstan, folk composer, singer, melodist Ryspay Abdykadyrov, who studied at Osh State University and worked at the college until the last days of his life, was opened at the college.

President visited the digital museum and said that he was well acquainted with Ryspay Abdykadyrov, emphasizing that he is not only a talented musician and composer but also a bright person and a favorite of the people.

The composer’s daughter Ms. Suita Abdykadyrova noted with gratitude that the Republican Foundation named after Ryspay Abdykadyrov was once established by Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

President left a manuscript in the museum’s guest book.

His Highness Mr. Sooronbai Jeenbekov also talked to teachers and noted with satisfaction the success of Osh State University in the digitalization of its activities.

President stressed that the transformation of management and teaching processes through the introduction of digital technologies in the university is the most important requirement in the world today.

He stressed that modern digital technologies increase the quality of education and motivation of students, thus creating the basis for success in today’s increasingly competitive labor market.

President, His Highness Mr. Sooronbai Jeenbekov stressed that the experience of Osh State University in the introduction of modern digital technologies in the education of the staff and students of Osh State University will be a good example for other educational institutions in the country.

In this regard, the President proposed to the Minister of Education and Science His Excellency Mr. Kanybek Isakov to organize an introductory seminar for rectors of other universities in Kyrgyzstan on the basis of Osh State University.
