JANUARY 16, 2023 WINTER SCHOOL STARTED

On January 16, 2023, the winter school started: “How to write and publish an article in a journal indexed in the Scopus 2023 database”.

Lecturer of the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Bazieva Aliya Mansurovna participates in a seminar from the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University.

The seminar program is focused on the practice of writing a research article, and its subsequent publication in a journal indexed in Scopus. The workshop will provide participants with the key concepts of research methodology, and the basic research process in various areas, including research article structure, research design (experimental and non-experimental), sampling methods, research proposal, data collection and analysis.

Participants will acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the research process and conduct research in quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods, and the process of preparing a manuscript for publication.

Also, participants will practice data analysis using Stata and SPSS software and present their research proposals. Guest speakers with extensive experience in conducting research and publishing in international journals will be invited.

Target audience: doctoral students, young researchers, university professors with a special status.

The training takes place from January 16 to 20, 2023 at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and with the support of the National Erasmus + Office, on the basis of the Kyrgyz-Korean Information Access Center, at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after.
