15.09.2021. Dear professors, scientists, teachers, colleagues! Dear student friends! Students of gymnasiums-lyceums, preschool education centers of our school! I sincerely congratulate all of you, our teachers, professors and student friends, who dedicate their knowledge and intelligence to young people and contribute to the development of our university, on September 15 – the beginning of the new academic year. This school year begins with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence of our country. Osh State University also contributed to the joy of our people, added to the difficulties of the country, gave spiritual strength and enthusiasm to our people, competed with the times and came with great achievements. Let the new academic year be fruitful, and the long 2020-2021 academic year has brought new stages of growth to Osh State University. This year, according to the results of the international ranking, our university was recognized as the best in the category “NAAR Eurasian Multidisciplinary University Award-2021” and was named one of the TOP-10 in Eurasia and one of the top 5 universities in Central Asia. I would say that this is the result of many years of work of every employee of the university. According to the results of the program “Demand rating of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic – 2021” conducted by the “Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating” (NAAR), Osh State University took 1st place for the 4th time in the overall ranking. Our international relations are expanding day by day, and within the framework of the Year of Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the Kyrgyz-Russian faculty was opened on the basis of a bilateral agreement with the South Ural State University of Russia. An agreement was signed with the Ural State Medical University on a dual degree program in medicine, dentistry and pediatrics. Also I.Ya. Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after Yakovlev, NN Bilateral agreements have also been signed with the Burdenko State Medical University and the Ural State Pedagogical University. As a result of these activities, more than $ 10 million has been invested in Osh State University over the past 10 years, and work continues in this direction. And in the field of digitalization, the Edoc program, which conducts internal electronic document conversion at the university, is currently working, giving the best results. In order to improve the digital environment, Osh State University has developed programs “Electronic spreadsheet”, “Online test system”, “Electronic profile”, “Electronic archive”, which are used today in the life of the university. At present, the internal base of the university is fully ready for automated exchange of information with other government agencies and institutions through the “North” system. The construction of the lyceum “Bilim” of Osh State University has begun, and the dormitory №2 of the university is undergoing a new, modern overhaul. Our strategic goal is to become one of the world’s TOP-700 research universities by 2024. Osh State University has been identified as one of the top three universities in Central Asia. As a result of our efforts today, we have implemented a number of programs. Together with you, we will implement new ideas, opportunities and initiatives this academic year. a We have accumulated scientific, spiritual and pedagogical potential.
