A great melodist and singer, was remembered – Ryspai Abdykadyrov
A commemorative event dedicated to the birthday of the great melodist and singer Ryspay Abdykadyrov took place on January 12 in Osh.
Rector of Osh State University his excellency Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, Professor of Osh State University, People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Jolboldu Alibaev, faculty of the university also attended the event and laid flowers to the monument to the great singer.
The museum of folk composer, singer and melodist Ryspay Abdykadyrov, who worked at Osh State University until the end of his life, was renovated this year at the initiative of Rector his excellency Kudaiberdi Kojobekov. There is an audio guide in the digital museum, which is designed in a modern style. At present, visitors to the museum can get information about the great talent R. Abdykadyrov in 3 languages (English, Russian, Kyrgyz).
In honor of the birthday of the great talent, teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts of Osh State University R. Abdykadyrov’s song “Shepherd’s Song” was performed and presented to the audience.
Ryspay Abdykadyrov was born in 1941. Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, the melodist left more than 200 works to the next generation. If the great talent were alive, he would be 80 years old.
