A media laboratory was opened at Osh State University

A media laboratory was opened at the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism of Osh State University in the framework of the project “Affordable and Safe Housing”.

The opening ceremony was attended by Osh State University Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs her excellency Zamirbek Bojonov, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs his excellency Jyldyz Artykva, journalists, teachers and students from Osh.

The project was implemented by Osh State University, Soros-Kyrgyzstan and Interbilim-Osh Public Association.

“The media laboratory will provide students with the knowledge and practical skills in new areas of journalism. We hope that this workshop will be a school for all students and young journalists and bloggers interested in journalism,” said Interbilim-Osh, an associate professor at Osh State University.
