Rector of Osh State University, His Excellency Professor KG Kojobekov’s congratulatory speech on the occasion of the Day of Culture on November 2

Dear colleagues, esteemed cultural workers, honored talents of Osh State University, and young artists! Congratulations on today’s Day of Cultural Workers!

Culture determines the integrity of the people, their national status, the spiritual direction of the state. A country without culture has nothing else. There are songs, dances, literature, music, theater, painting, sculpture, handicrafts, craftsmanship, traditions, and people live in nobility and values. Art is an industry that reflects and disseminates the pure world of man, his inner and outer beauty. Culture is the beauty of the soul, the herald of morality and faith. Masters of art must always be at the forefront, at the forefront of hearts. Talent is a great gift from God. We are happy to have people who have it. They carry in their hearts the wealth of not just one valley or one nation, but of all mankind. The Kyrgyz people have introduced Chingiz Aitmatov to world culture. The ocean presented “Manas”. We hope that the Kyrgyz nation, which has a fortune on the map of the globe, will give the world many more great cultures and artists.

The university should be a place of culture, full of talented people. Whatever the art, whatever the art form, its bearer must be found in the school. The school is a center of science as well as culture. Undoubtedly, the history and times of our university are rich in talent and art.

Osh State University has nurtured such great talents as Sooronbai Jusuev, Rysbai Abdykadyrov, Fakhridin Bayakov, Myrza Omorkulov, Asanaly Beishenov, Toktobai Jumakulov, Ibragim Zhunusov, Karbalas Bakirov, Markabai Amatov, Atlanta Akbarov, Kadyraly Artykov, and others.

There are hundreds of cultural figures who are the beauty of our school. Every day with them is amazingly beautiful, fun, and enjoyable. No matter what kind of cultural event is held in the country, in the city, in the university, the talents of Osh State University have always been appreciated by the general public. We are glad that they are educating the younger generation and entering school. Art giants Jolboldu Alibaev Bukarbai Imetov, Kanyshaim Sagynbaeva, Mamyraly Eshbaev, Tamara Kadyrbaeva, Abdykerim Ahmedov, Egemberdi Talipov, Janyl Atabaeva, Zhenish Moidunov, Umut Teshebaev, Zuura Turdubaeva, Ravshan Momunov, and many other talented people in the field of culture.

We do not have teachers and sisters who hold the reins of science and industry equally. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Satkanbay Momunaliev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Gulbadam Matieva created heartbreaking songs, and Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Maralbek Uskonbaev recited “Manas”. There is no doubt that our university is a real home of talent.

Our university has always supported our talents and will continue to do so. Every year, Osh State University holds creative evenings of talented staff and students, and books are published. Continue to support our artists ready to receive. November of this academic year has been declared “Youth – the month of science, culture, and art.” Our talented theater-loving students are about to take part in the national competition.
