10 students of Osh State University received “Civil Scholarships” worth $ 1,200
Osh State University’s Civic Scholarship, the largest student scholarship in the country, was awarded to 10 students this academic year.
The ceremony was held on September 11 with the participation of members of the Administrative Council of Osh State University.
The selection of the best students was carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the competition “The best student of Osh State University” on the 21st ballot, developed by the university. The competition consisted of 2 stages, the 1st stage was organized at the faculty level, and the 2nd stage was organized at the university level.
The winners of the competition were evaluated in the field of academic achievement, logic and literacy, research achievements, invention, creative and creative potential, social responsibility, leadership potential, organizational quality, student self-government.
The competition was attended by full-time students of 3-6 years of Osh State University with “excellent” grades. A total of 39 candidates competed in the second round of the competition in March, and the 10 students with the highest scores were selected.
They are Ms. Zinat Aliyeva, a third-year student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, Aziret Zaidov, a third-year student at the Faculty of Oriental Studies and History, Burmakan Karabaevna, a third-year student at the Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism Faculty, Gulzina Suleimanova, a third-year student at the Faculty of Business and Management. Bektursun Avazbekov, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, Mutabarkhan Atahodjaeva, 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Relations, Asel Kurmanbaeva, 4th year student of the Faculty of Russian Philology, Sakhida Talipova, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Bekov, Akylai Jyldyzbekova, 4th year student of the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, each winner will receive a stipend of $ 100 per month for a total of $ 1,200 per year.
This scholarship is awarded by a doctor of science, professor, patron of the Osh State University. The master decided to deposit his life savings in a bank, inherit it to the school and give scholarships to the best students. The leadership of Osh State University has signed a tripartite agreement with the bank, professor and university to pay for this scholarship for 50 years. In 2012, the scholarship was awarded to its first recipients. More precisely, the top 5 students have already been awarded, but now their number has reached 10 students.
During the ceremony, videos about each scholarship holder were shown and the best achievements of the students were presented to the participants.
