History of the department
The department was organized in 2015, is headed by MD, Associate Professor S. M. Mamatov. The department had 53 employees. In 2017, it was divided into 2 departments and renamed the department “Clinical Disciplines 1”. The department employs 27 employees. Of these, 2 MD, Professor, 6 PhD, 19 teachers and 1 senior laboratory assistant 1 laboratory assistant. The department conducts classes on internal diseases 1, 2, 3, 4, family medicine, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry and substance abuse, dentistry, dermatovenereology, hematology, phthisiology, evidence-based medicine, the basics of clinical skills. The department is located on the basis of the medical clinic of Osh State University. Classes are also held in the OOKB, OGKB, dental clinic Osh State University. There are 12 classrooms.
The purpose of the department of “clinical disciplines 1”
-Training of competent students who are familiar with the methods of clinical and laboratory-instrumental examination, recognition and identification of various symptoms and syndromes of diseases of internal organs;
– training 3 courses includes clinical methods for examining a patient, basic laboratory and instrumental methods of examination, training in recognizing various symptoms of diseases of internal organs, understanding their origin, the ability to group them into syndromes; assessment of the importance of symptoms and syndromes in the diagnosis of various diseases with analysis of their treatment principle.
– Teaching students 4 courses of etiology, pathogenesis of the main diseases of internal organs, their clinical and laboratory-instrumental signs, diagnosis of complications and principles of pharmacotherapy;
– Education of students of the 5th course of etiopathogenesis of rare diseases of internal organs, their clinical and laboratory-instrumental signs, diagnosis of complications and principles of therapy;
– Teaching students of the 6th course in the subjects of internal diseases, differential diagnosis, hematology, phthisiology, family medicine, evidence-based medicine.
-Teaching students 4, 5, 6 courses of etiology, pathogenesis of major diseases of internal organs, their clinical and laboratory-instrumental signs, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, complications and principles of pharmacotherapy, to ensure quality assurance in the modern educational process.
-Teaching family medicine, psychiatry, phthisiology, neurology and neurosurgery, dermatology and venereology, for the training of highly qualified personnel.
Department tasks
The department of “clinical disciplines №1” carries out educational, research, methodological and practical activities in the framework of the implementation of educational standards. Conducts training of students, applicants.
The main tasks of the department:
By study :
– creation of favorable conditions for meeting the needs of students in acquiring knowledge, skills and professional skills;
– training of qualified specialists with deep theoretical knowledge and sufficient professional skills;
– raising the level of qualifications of members of the department;
– development and implementation of modern foundations of the scientific organization of the educational process and the introduction of new technologies of training and education;
– high-quality organization and conduct of studies, practices and independent work of students;
– formation of individual and alternative training programs, etc.
For scientific work:
– organization of research, scientific, practical and experimental work of the department;
– participation and implementation of research orders from enterprises and institutions;
– development and implementation in the educational process of the results of scientific and experimental research;
– participation of members of the department in scientific, scientific and practical conferences, seminars and symposia;
– participation in the development and implementation of research projects, grants and competitions;
Dissemination of scientific, cultural, technical and pedagogical knowledge among the population, etc.
According to the methodical work:
– continuous improvement of educational and methodological activities of members of the department;
– improving the quality of educational and methodological support of the educational process;
– development of recommendations on the use of new and progressive learning technologies;
– participation in the preparation of new programs, textbooks and manuals on the disciplines of the department;
– development of special courses, special seminars on the interests of students;
– meeting the needs of enterprises, organizations and institutions in raising the skills of their employees, etc.
For educational work:
– active education of students in the process of teaching department subjects;
– education of consciousness, diligence and independence of students;
Compliance with moral and ethical standards among members of the department and instilling these qualities in students and others.
